Stop panning for AI gold: Start building
In the mid-1800s, thousands of hopeful miners flocked to California with dreams of striking it rich.
But here’s the twist:
Most of them didn’t find gold.
The real money was made by the people who sold the picks, shovels, tents, boots, and breakfast to those dreamers.
Take Sam Brannan—California’s first millionaire. He didn’t mine a single ounce of gold. He sold the tools to the miners. While others were chasing treasure, he was building a business.
And right now, in the middle of the AI gold rush, we’re watching history repeat itself.
We’re in an AI Gold Rush—And Most People Are Digging in the Wrong Place
Every day, I see people hopping from tool to tool…
“This new one looks faster!”
“This one has more presets!”
“I’m waiting until GPT-5 drops…”
They spend weeks testing, tweaking, comparing.
But meanwhile, others are:
✅ Publishing blog posts
✅ Creating short-form videos
✅ Building products
✅ Launching offers
✅ Closing clients
They’re using what’s already available—not waiting for perfection.
The real winners in AI aren’t searching. They’re building.
What “building with AI” looks like
If you’ve ever felt like you’re “behind” because you’re not on the latest AI tool, I want to shift that mindset.
You don’t need to master 50 tools. You just need a few purpose-built workflows you can use consistently.
Here’s how I do it:
🔥 3 go-to prompts
You don’t need fancy prompt engineering to get great results—you just need clarity and context.
These are three of my go-to prompts I come back to every single week:
1. Know your buyer better than they know themselves
Prompt:
*"You are a buyer psychology expert. Analyze customers considering [insert your product/service]. Answer:
What are their top 3 subconscious fears about making the wrong purchase?
What internal objections do they use to delay buying? (Give 3 detailed ones)
What are their hidden dreams or desires they hope this will fulfill?
What specific words and phrases would they use in real conversations or search queries when looking for a solution like this?"*
✅ Use for: Sales pages, email sequences, ad copy, and social media captions.
🔥 Why it works: It takes your messaging from “Here’s what we do” to “Here’s what you’re actually afraid of, dreaming about, and trying to solve.” Instant connection.
2. Turn 1 piece of content into 5
Prompt:
*"Turn the following blog post into:
A Twitter/X thread (7 tweets)
A LinkedIn carousel (5 slides)
A short-form video script (under 60 seconds)
A promotional email
A caption for Instagram + Facebook
Write each one in a friendly, high-authority voice that positions me as a helpful expert."*
✅ Use for: Repurposing blog posts, podcast interviews, newsletters.
🔥 Why it works: You don’t need 5x the effort to show up in 5 places—you just need to restructure your message for each platform. AI makes this easy.
3. Use AI to write high-converting sales copy
Prompt:
"Write a persuasive landing page for [offer name], designed for [target audience].
Start with a strong hook. Use emotional storytelling, clear benefits, and proof. Include a call to action that addresses objections and creates urgency. Assume the reader is skeptical but curious. Use language that’s confident and natural—not hypey."
✅ Use for: Offer pages, lead magnets, launch pages.
🔥 Why it works: AI gives you the structure and flow. You add your personality and polish. The result? A page that sells—fast.
Bonus: My favorite customGPTs
Most people use ChatGPT as a generalist.
But I’ve bookmarked CustomGPTs that specialize in marketing, sales, and content.
These save me hours each week—and no, I don’t gatekeep.
Here are the ones I come back to again and again:
✅ Marketing strategist GPT
Takes a product or idea and builds a campaign strategy around it—messaging pillars, email angles, lead magnets, and ad themes.
Great for: Launches, rebrands, offers in development.
✅ Ad copy + visual generator GPT
You input your offer + customer profile, and it outputs multiple scroll-stopping ads complete with headlines, ad copy, and image suggestions.
Great for: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn ad campaigns.
✅ Content multiplier GPT
My go-to for turning a single piece of long-form content into platform-specific content.
Great for: Scaling up your presence without burning out.
✅ No more objections GPT
This GPT writes FAQ-style responses, follow-ups, and sales scripts that preemptively address buyer hesitations.
Great for: Sales emails, webinars, nurture sequences.

Stop searching. Start building.
Everyone’s still searching for the perfect AI tool.
They’re on page 12 of some “Top 50 AI Tools of the Month” blog post.
But the winners?
They’re using the tools they already have to build:
✅ Offers
✅ Audiences
✅ Systems
✅ Content
✅ Revenue
You don’t need more tools. You need momentum.
AI is not the gold—it’s the shovel.
Stop panning. Start building.
