Create AI-generated content that solves your customers' problems
Don’t sell products, solve problems
Last month, I spoke with a founder who told me her biggest frustration with content:
“I keep showing up, I post consistently, I talk about my product… and it still feels like no one’s listening.”
She wasn’t alone.
Most brands are doing the same thing—posting what they offer, what’s new, what’s on sale.
But here’s the truth:
📉 Content that talks about what you sell gets ignored.
📈 Content that solves what your audience is struggling with gets saved, shared, and remembered.
In this post, I’ll show you how to use ChatGPT to make that shift.
You’ll walk away with 6 powerful prompts to:
Find the exact problems your audience is facing
Create content that solves them
Connect back to your product (without sounding like a sales pitch)
What most brands do
They talk about features. They talk about new launches. They highlight what they do.
Here’s the problem: your audience doesn’t care what you do.
They care what you can do for them.
They care about:
The follow-up email they forgot to send
The 45 minutes they lost chasing the wrong lead
The tool they thought would help, but didn’t
If your content isn’t solving a real frustration, it won’t land—no matter how often you post.
What smart brands do
They flip the script.
They start with:
“Here’s a pain point you’re probably dealing with.”
Then they follow with:
“Here’s a better way to handle it.”
Only then do they mention their product—briefly and naturally.
6 prompts to create content that solves
1. Find the Right Problem First
Before you can solve anything, you need to know what’s actually bothering your audience.
Prompt:
Act as a customer insights researcher.
I want to create content that solves a real problem for [target audience, e.g., freelance designers, pet parents, SaaS founders].
Based on current trends, frustrations, and behavior patterns, give me a list of 5–7 specific problems or pain points this audience is likely dealing with right now.
For each one, include:
– A short description of the problem
– Why it’s frustrating, costly, or time-consuming
– What they’ve likely tried that hasn’t worked
– A hint at what kind of solution they’re actually looking for
Ask me any follow-up questions to make your recommendations more tailored.
2. Solve a Daily Frustration
Turn everyday headaches into quick-win content.
Prompt:
Act as a content strategist focused on solving daily pain points for [target audience].
I want to create content that positions [my product/service] as a helpful solution to everyday frustrations.
Give me 7 content ideas, each one structured as:
– A relatable scenario or problem this audience faces
– A quick tip or insight they can use right away
– A soft CTA to explore how [product/service] can help
