Create a 90-Day marketing strategy in under 15 minutes (with AI)

Let’s face it—most marketers and entrepreneurs don’t skip strategy because they’re lazy.
They skip it because it takes time, and when you’re wearing 15 hats, time is the one thing you don’t have.

But without strategy?
You’re guessing. Posting in circles. Launching funnels with no big picture behind them.

The good news:
You don’t need a strategy retreat, a $10K consultant, or a 40-slide deck to stay focused.

You just need a 90-day plan that’s clear, flexible, and fast to create.
And AI can help you build it—without overthinking a thing.

Why 90 days is the sweet spot

A 90-day strategy gives you:

  • Just enough structure to focus

  • Just enough flexibility to adapt

  • And just enough visibility to plan ahead without burning out

Whether you're a solo founder, a marketer at a growing startup, or building a side hustle—you can use this approach.

Start here: The 15-minute AI prompt that plans your quarter

Here’s the exact AI prompt I use to get clarity fast:

Prompt Share: Act as a senior marketing strategist. I run a business that helps [TARGET AUDIENCE] with [SERVICE/PRODUCT].

My top 1–2 goals for the next 90 days are: [GOAL 1] and [GOAL 2].

Please create a full 90-day marketing strategy that includes: – Monthly marketing themes
– Key campaigns or offers to promote
– Content types to focus on (e.g. newsletters, reels, LinkedIn posts)
– Channel priorities (social, email, ads, YouTube, etc.)
– Suggested weekly cadence (how often to post, email, etc.)
– Calls-to-action that align with each phase

Tone of brand: [E.g., confident, helpful, fun, analytical]
Target audience tone: [E.g., busy professionals, scrappy founders, overwhelmed marketers]

If anything is unclear, ask me questions before responding.

What you’ll get back

You’ll likely receive something like this:

Month 1: Awareness

  • Theme: Clarify the problem you solve

  • Focus: Story-driven posts, lead magnet launch, engagement content

  • Content: “Before & after” posts, audience pain points, insights

  • CTA: “Download the free guide” or “Join the waitlist”

Month 2: Education & trust

  • Theme: Teach your frameworks and unique POV

  • Focus: Case studies, testimonials, deep-dive emails

  • Content: LinkedIn carousels, how-to videos, behind-the-scenes

  • CTA: “Book a free call” or “See how this works for [NICHE]”

Month 3: Conversion

  • Theme: Make the offer feel urgent and relevant

  • Focus: Direct sales messaging, early-bird promos, fast-action bonuses

  • Content: Email sequence, launch content, social proof stack

  • CTA: “Buy now,” “Join today,” “Let’s work together”

Want to go deeper?

Here are 3 follow-up prompts I use to make the strategy actionable right away:

Prompt 1: Build a Calendar of Content Ideas

Act as a content strategist. Based on the 90-day plan above, give me 10 content ideas per month (total of 30) across [CHANNELS: e.g., LinkedIn, email, podcast]. Each idea should include: – Topic/headline
– Format (post, email, carousel, etc.)
– Call to action
– Stage of the funnel it supports (Awareness, Consideration, Acquisition, Retention)

Prompt 2: Refine the ICP for Better Messaging

Act as a customer persona expert. Help me define 2–3 personas I should target for this 90-day campaign. For each one, include: – Name and short description
– Top pain points and daily frustrations
– What they’re searching for when they discover my product
– Preferred content type (email, video, social, etc.)
– Messaging tone that resonates with them

Prompt 3: Map the Funnel with Smart CTAs

Act as a funnel builder. Using the 90-day strategy above, map out the full customer journey: – Entry points (top-of-funnel content)
– Lead magnet ideas to capture emails
– Nurture sequence structure
– Sales or launch flow
– Retargeting and re-engagement tactics (social ads, emails, etc.)

Recommend CTAs for each stage and format (e.g., newsletter CTA vs. landing page).

The Real Benefit? Clarity You Can Execute On

AI isn’t replacing your judgment. It’s replacing the blank page.

You still bring: ✅ The expertise
✅ The instincts
✅ The final edit

But now you’ve got a strategic framework that saves hours—and actually aligns with your goals.
